Our Programs

Discover the heart of our programs that aim to spread compassion, connection, and creativity. Our programs include:

A group of young people are gathered in a grassy area surrounded by lush trees, with several tents visible in the background. Some individuals are standing close together with their arms around each other, creating a sense of camaraderie. Others are walking or standing separately, suggesting an outdoor, possibly camping or team-building activity.

Letters Across Generations

This Pen Pal Program connects youth with senior citizens in a one-of-a-kind experience that connects generations through writing letters. By exchanging stories, life experiences, and insights, young people and seniors form meaningful bonds full of sympathy and understanding. This program not only enriches the lives of our both sides of the participants but also helps break down generational barriers, reminding all involved of the value of shared stories and relationships.

Writing Workshops for Aspiring Young Authors (WWAYA)

Our Writing Workshop program is designed to inspire young people to find and share their voices through creative expression. In this supportive and collaborative environment, participants explore different styles of writing, receive guidance from mentors, and have the opportunity to share their work. Each workshop helps members build confidence in their writing, connect with peers, and develop skills that will benefit them in all areas of life.

The Ladybug Garden

This is a youth literacy initiative dedicated to building a love of reading, critical thinking skills, and creating meaningful connections through engaging discussions and activities. Open to middle and high school students, the club features books that spark conversations about important themes, like creativity, and empathy. Through regular meetings, participants will have dynamic discussions, writing prompts, and more—all in a welcoming, supportive environment!

Participating in the writing workshop made me want to pursue my passion for storytelling.

One person is holding and speaking into a megaphone, while the other appears to be listening or assisting. The background shows more people, all of whom seem to be engaged in the event. Some have face paint.
